Questions & Answers

Do the books have to be read in order of publication?

Yes, it is better because some of the volumes talk about the previous adventure. For example, if you read the first chapter of Vol. 3 “Full Moon Invasion” without having read Vol. 2 « The Beast of Full Moon » you will unveil the essence of Vol. 2 without the context. It’s like discovering at the start of a movie sequel that « Superman was, in fact, Clark Kent! » without having seen the previous film. It would be a shame, really.

Who are the adventures of Full Moon Tales for?

The youngest reader we have is 10 years old and he brings the book with him to school. The oldest reader is 75. Both liked the same book, so they are simply for everyone.

How would you describe the style and universe of The Tales of Full Moon?

These tales contain the supernatural and paranormal. There is also a bit of magic, and all occurs in a universe just like ours. They are in an era corresponding to the 1990s with the arrival of the internet, etc.

Are all the books the same genre?

No, far from it! Each book has its own style, tones, emotions, storyline, etc. So no, they are all very distinct from each other.

Do the stories take place in the same place?

Yes, for the moment all the adventures take place in the same places and with the same characters mainly.

Is the story predictable?

No. We often have feedback that what readers love most is the surprise and suspense. Often we imagine a “logical” turn of events, which follows the story, but then something will happen which changes the whole course. And that’s what G. Abby Stale likes the most; being anything but predictable.

What are the Tales of Full-Moon Season 1?

All the adventures that occur during the same school year at Full Moon constitute a season. Adventures 1 to 4 occur during the same school year, so they form Season 1. The 5th adventure occurs at the start of the school year, so it begins Season 2.

How many seasons will there be?

Many. But we don’t know how many yet. Only the evolution of the story will tell us.

Do you plan to adapt these adventures to the screen?

Yes, we would love to see that happen and we’re sure it would be a great series.
